IR filter
DeltaPix Microscope Cameras are made with high quality IR filter which protects the sensor from invisible light and dust. DeltaPix IR-filters are free from scratches and other artefacts, which could potentially degrade the image quality.

Unlike free software enclosing many cheaper cameras on the market, DeltaPix software are based on many years of experience, which shows up in the small details when working with the camera and software in the “real world”.

Low noise images
Even though DeltaPix cameras are built with the same sensors as many other cameras on the market, huge performance differences can easily be found. One of the differences is noise. Noise comes from the sensor itself, but also from the surrounding electronic circuits and the wires. By choosing components, wiring, grounding and shielding intelligent, noise levels can be decreased significantly. Bellow you see images captured with our Invenio 5SII, compared to the image from the camera of a less expensive competitor camera with the same sensor.

Clean sensor
All DeltaPix Microscope cameras are built in a dust free and clean chamber to achieve the best camera and image quality.
The image below is a typical cheap camera sensor and IR filter under the microscope, notice the dust particles on the IR filter and the lines on the sensor.

The image below illustrates the difference between 2 images, one taken with a typical cheap camera (the same camera as the one we had under the microscope) and the other with DeltaPix camera. Notice the spots marked with red in the first image, this is clearly showing how dust on the sensor affects the image. Dust on the IR filter also affects the image, but less visibly.
