The above animations shows an example of capturing images with automatic focus and exposure control, resulting in images with extended focus depth and perfect exposure of all areas. At each Z focus position 3 images with different exposure settings are captured, to form an image with perfect exposure settings in all areas. In this example 8 extended exposure images are captured at different focus positions, to finally form an extended focus image from the 8 extended exposure images.
